ClearToText ("we," "us") runs cleartotext.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Email address, when you join our list or request a report.
- Business details you give us in our intake form, such as your business name, address, website, and how you collect phone numbers.
- Mobile phone number, if you sign up for text messages, along with the date, time and wording of your consent.
- How you found us, such as the ad or link you clicked (UTM tags and referring site).
- Public information on your website, which we review to prepare your report.
How we use it
- To prepare and send your approval report and any paid work you order.
- To email you about your report, your spot on our list, and our service.
- To send text messages you've agreed to receive.
- To improve our checks. We use what we learn from registrations, with identifying details removed, to make future reports more accurate.
Text messaging
We do not sell, rent or share your mobile phone number or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers that deliver messages on our behalf (such as Twilio).
Who we share data with
We use service providers to run ClearToText: Heroku for hosting, Twilio SendGrid for email, Twilio for text messages, and Stripe for payments. They process data only to provide their services to us. We don't sell personal information.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from email with the link in any email we send.
- Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving texts.
- Email hello@cleartotext.com to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you.
